This was a special order from austrian musician Franz. He wanted a special backpack bag for his traditional diatonic harmonica.
Here i used outdoor canvas and vegetable tanned leather, and inside an inner lining from velvet. Handcarved leather applications and strong shoulder straps completing the appearance of this piece.
Next to his carved name in front are also engraved two famous alpine flowers known as Edelweiss, which growing only in high altitudes of Alps. In the austrian Alps according tradition the man has to climb a mountain for getting such Edelweiss and bringing it to the girl for proposing.
On the back straps are carved celtic knots ornaments and conchos (metal buttons) with celtic harp motifs are used.
